St. Francis Medical Center in New Jersey Engages Compass for Surgery Center on Team Campus Bordentown

(March 1, 2012)Compass Surgical Partners has entered into a joint venture with St. Francis Medical Center for a surgery center on the Team Campus Bordentown site.

Team Campus Bordentown is a $50 million project that is home to state-of-the-art office and medical space on a 32 acres in a fast-growing area of Central New Jersey. The site is being developed by St. Francis Medical Center and K. Johnson Enterprises, a real estate and business development company led by former NFL star and Hamilton, N.J., native, Kevin Johnson.

Team Campus Bordentown includes a 30,000 square foot outpatient treatment center, with 10,000 square feet dedicated to the surgery center. Compass Surgical Partners is syndicating, designing, building and managing the ASC from the ground up.

The ASC project will be a joint venture between Compass, St. Francis and local physicians. Construction will commence at the beginning of 2013, with an anticipated opening date during third quarter 2013. Targeted specialties for the first round of syndication, anticipated to close in fourth quarter 2012, include spine, pain, orthopedics, general surgery and ENT.
