Compass Surgical Partners Is Launched

CSP-logo(September 10, 2011) – Compass Surgical Partners, a firm specializing in the investment, management and development of ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs), began business on September 10.

The firm is founded by Darin Jay (DJ) Hill and Sean Rambo, who worked together as senior executives at Titan Health Corporation, a venture-backed enterprise with partner ASCs throughout the United States.

Hill and Rambo were instrumental in Titan's national strategic growth initiatives and its successful merger with United Partners Surgical International in 2011. With the sale of Titan, the two executives launched Compass Surgical Partners to offer individualized strategies to optimize the value of ASCs within each unique marketplace.

As a comprehensive management firm, Compass offers ASCs a hybrid approach between majority equity firms and standard consulting. With a minority equity investment, Compass can provide the systems, business acumen and people that will turn an underperforming ASC into a high-performance, profitable business venture for its owners. Compass also participates in joint ventures by managing ASCs from inception to completion by putting the proper formula for success in place from the very beginning.

With its select team of experts in the field, Compass has the ability to navigate quickly and efficiently in the ASC marketplace. To increase an ASC's performance, the team focuses on the center's marketplace, local opportunities, culture and internal systems in order to formulate strategies that will solve problems and create the advantage for the stakeholders.

Our mission is to create strong partnerships that improve the lives of patients and providers.
