Darcy Smith’s entrepreneurial approach and collaborative leadership style are instrumental for building strategic relationships and enhancing organizational effectiveness.
Darcy brings more than 25 years of experience in human resources and organizational development to her CPO role at Compass. Most recently, she served as CPO for a private equity-backed company, where she played a key role in scaling the business. Under her leadership, the 2,000-employee company was named ‘Top 100 Places to Work’ by Fortune Magazine.
Throughout her career, Darcy has led HR work streams in numerous mergers and acquisitions, ensuring seamless integrations and achieving significant cost reductions and revenue enhancements for several health care organizations. She is passionate about creating supportive, dynamic workplaces where everyone feels valued and thrives.
Darcy holds an MBA from the Madden School of Business at LeMoyne College and a bachelor's degree in industrial/organizational psychology from the University at Buffalo. She is a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and has completed various executive education programs, including certifications in finance and enterprise change management.
Outside of her professional accomplishments, Darcy is deeply interested in health and fitness and is an enthusiast of “biohacking.” Whether it’s trying out a new workout routine, exploring nutrition hacks, or delving into the latest research on health optimization, Darcy’s commitment to well-being inspires us all.
