Deb Yoder, RN, MHA, CNOR, CASC
Vice President of Facility Development
As Vice President of Facility Development, Deb Yoder guides the Compass team as we collaborate with health system and physician partners to design, plan, and launch de novo ambulatory surgery centers and HOPD-to-ASC conversions. She has successfully executed more than 15 ASC facility launches.
Deb spearheads many aspects of ASC development, including initial site selection, feasibility studies, and construction oversight. She works closely with health system and physician partners, architects, contractors, engineers, and regulatory agencies to ensure that our ASC projects meet quality standards, adhere to budgetary constraints, and comply with relevant regulations and accreditation standards such as those set by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC).
As a trained nurse and experienced healthcare leader, Deb works to improve evidence-based patient care, quality standards, patient satisfaction, and financial outcomes. She is a skilled mentor to new leaders and fosters positive, profitable work environments.
Deb earned a Diploma in Nursing at St. Luke’s School of Nursing, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Allen College, and a Master of Healthcare Administration at Ohio University. She has written articles for ASC Focus: The ASCA Journal and has spoken on de novo ASC builds, remodeling, and other facility topics at AORN, ASCA, and Becker’s.
Outside of work, Deb enjoys time with her family, gardening, home décor, and exploring the pages of a good mystery novel.
