Beth Derby, RN, a nationally recognized expert on ASCs, has joined Compass Surgical Partners as the Senior Clinical & Regulatory Advisor. As such, she is overseeing the Clinical Operations Program to ensure that all partner surgery centers adhere to the highest clinical standards, quality control and regulatory compliance.
Derby has extensive expertise in assisting ASCs throughout the United States in critical turnaround efforts. She has served as a Senior Clinical Operator for multiple ASC chains, as well as President of the Federated Ambulatory Surgery Association (FASA), the precursor to the Ambulatory Surgery Center Association (ASCA). In addition, she is an active member of the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC) and also serves on the organization's board of directors.
