Compass Surgical Partners Hires Scott White as Florida Market President
Nationally Recognized Leader to Spearhead Florida Expansion
Raleigh, N.C. – Compass Surgical Partners, a leading surgery center management, acquisition and development firm, recently selected nationally recognized Scott White to serve as the company’s Florida market president. White’s experience and depth of knowledge in the health care industry makes him an asset as the company fulfills its mission of creating high value partnerships that deliver surgical excellence.

Scott’s primary responsibilities will be to oversee the operation of Compass’ existing Florida centers and direct the timely opening of multiple centers under development. Scott comes to Compass Surgical Partners with more than 16 years of top-performing success in the medical device/life science marketplace where he drove business productivity and results through a broad-based background spanning sales, marketing, operations and finance.

Prior to joining Compass, Scott served as a vice president of sales for Intuitive Surgical, the global leader in minimally invasive robotic surgery. While at Intuitive for eight years, Scott managed his Southeast organization of more than 115 team members with revenues exceeding $200 million annually. Most recently, Scott has been a partner and consultant in various health care ventures, including outpatient surgery centers where his experience includes management, syndication, business development and operations. His extensive experience working with both surgeons and hospital executives has earned him a reputation as a trustworthy partner and strategic thinker in the health care market. Scott’s abilities to be an influential leader, with clear goals and creativity, will enable Compass to service and grow its current partnerships while identifying new partnership prospects.

Scott earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Florida and an MBA from the University of Miami. Scott resides in Tampa, Fla., with his wife and three children.
