Raleigh, N.C. and Davenport, Fla. – July 21, 2017 – Heart of Florida Surgery Center (HFSC), a new freestanding surgery center in Davenport, Fla., is now open and providing convenient, high-quality, high-value surgical options for residents of Davenport and the entire Polk County region. The 13,000-square-foot center, located at 410 Lionel Way in Davenport, is a partnership between Compass Surgical Partners, Heart of Florida Regional Medical Center, and a group of local physicians.

HFSC is the first freestanding surgery center affiliated with Heart of Florida Medical Center. It offers a wide range of surgical specialties, including orthopaedic, podiatry, spine, pain management, urology and gastroenterology procedures. The center is staffed with experienced medical professionals committed to ensuring every patient is satisfied with their surgical procedure.
HFSC is operated by Compass Surgical Partners and currently undergoing the accreditation process with the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC), which surveys and accredits surgery centers that exhibit the highest standard of quality.
