ENGLEWOOD, N.J., and RALEIGH, N.C. – February 11, 2025 – Compass Surgical Partners (Compass), a leading, independent, full-service ambulatory surgery center (ASC) development and management partner, today announced the opening of NYC Joint & Spine Center. First cases were successfully performed at the ASC in late December 2024.

Leading the facility along with Compass is a managing team of skilled, highly regarded physicians based in New York City and New Jersey. Located at 34 South Dean Street, Suite 201, in Englewood, New Jersey, the facility offers outpatient total joint replacement, neurosurgery and spine, sports medicine, and other orthopedic procedures. The ASC serves patients throughout Bergen County and surrounding NJ counties, as well as New York City. The facility is just over the border from New York City, with easy access to the George Washington Bridge and the New Jersey Turnpike.

The modern, 7300-square-foot facility offers state-of-the-art surgical equipment including Stryker’s® Mako™ Robotic-Arm Assisted System, which increases the predictability of the surgical experience during total hip and total knee replacements. By offering surgeries that will cost less overall and typically require lower copays than those conducted in hospital outpatient settings, the ASC makes high-quality care more affordable for patients.
