October 31, 2016 – Compass Surgical Partners and Vero Orthopaedics & Neurology have partnered together to open a new surgery center in Vero Beach, Florida. The Advanced Center for Surgery provides residents of Vero Beach with access to low-cost, expert orthopaedic surgery options.

Heart of Florida to Open New Surgery Center in 2017

Davenport, Florida (July 21, 2016) – Compass Surgical Partners and Heart of Florida Regional Medical Center are working together to bring a new, 13,000 square foot outpatient surgery center to Davenport, Florida. The new facility is scheduled to open in early 2017.

For Ann Barnhart, CEO of Heart of Florida Regional Medical Center, the new facility is two years in the making. “We have worked with other firms in the past and been unable to pull the physician partnership together,” said Barnhart, “However, Compass was able to engage quickly, navigate a competitive landscape, and work together with our team to accomplish what other firms could not.”

In partnership with a number of skilled local surgeons, the new surgery center will serve the growing community of Davenport with a unique variety of outpatient surgical specializations, including GI, urology, spine, pain management, orthopedics, and ENT. Compass will lead the development and management of the center. Construction for this project is scheduled to begin in September, 2016.

Martin Health and Compass sponsor new Tradition, FL surgery center project

(March 15, 2016) – Martin Health System, Compass Surgical Partners and leading local physicians will begin construction of an outpatient surgery center in west Port St. Lucie this summer.

The surgery center will be part of a 60,000-square foot medical office building adjacent to Tradition Medical Center. Construction on the three-story building is expected to be complete summer 2017 and will be adjacent to the existing two-story medical office building attached to Tradition Medical Center. The medical office buildings are owned and managed by Optimal Outcomes.

Ambulatory surgery centers (ASC’s) focus on providing same-day outpatient surgical care and diagnostic procedures. The new 11,000-square foot surgery center will feature two operating rooms and two procedural rooms (where procedures such as colonoscopies, pain-management and other non-invasive procedures may take place).
